The Montana 700 provides detailed navigation and tracking in a durable and easy-to-use design with the capability to track expeditions up to a week. Advanced sensing from multiple GPS networks as well as Garmin’s ABC sensor array provide consistent and accurate location data even in closed-in environments.
Routable Topoactive maps for Europe give detailed mapping that include streets and natural features, whilst BirdsEye Satellite imagery can be downloaded direct to the device for photo-realistic mapping. The rugged and durable design includes IPX7 water resistance and meets the MIL-STD 810 for shock and thermal resistance, whilst the 5inch colour screen is viewable in sunlight and works with gloves.
Adding to the expedition credentials the battery lasts up to 18hrs in GPS mode or up to 330hrs in Expedition mode which uses an ultralow-power GPS reference to track for up to a week between charges. Connect to a smartphone and use the Garmin Explore app to make and alter routes on the go, and recieve Active Weather forecasts on the Montana device.
